The phrase "Living Hope (Lively Hope - KJV)" was used by the Apostle Peter describing his joy for being so blessed by God through Jesus Christ. It was not positive thinking or simply optimism because Peter was one of many witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the fact upon which his hope was firmly established. He faith guided how he lived his life which he used to encourage those around him that God indeed loved them because he had prepared and reserved a place for them to live for eternity, totally forgiven of all their sins.

As the name of our congregation suggests, we also have this Living Hope. This does not mean we are perfect or special compared to anyone else. We just firmly believe no circumstance, no event in our life, nothing, can remove our hope and we strive to live our lives trying to honor the source of our hope. Peter informs us (in 1 Peter 1:3-9) this Living Hope is given by God to those believing Jesus Christ alone is worthy to grant their salvation. Just like Peter, we have placed our faith in the love and mercy of Jesus Christ who provides the hope we have from God. Follow this link and let us tell you more.
